What to have ready when you call
A two-minute call goes faster and gets you a tighter price if you have a few details on hand:
- Your move date, or the range of dates you’re weighing.
- The addresses you’re moving from and to, plus the home size (studio, 1-bed, two-story house, and so on).
- Stairs, elevators, or a long carry from the truck — and whether the new place has a steep or icy driveway.
- Any specialty items: a piano, a gun safe, a chest freezer, exercise equipment.
- Whether you want us to pack, or you’re boxing it yourself.
- For apartments and condos, whether your building needs a certificate of insurance (COI).
Don’t have all of it? Call anyway. Derek can walk the rest out of you in a few minutes and lock a flat written price. A $119 deposit holds your date and comes off the final total.
